Although I haven't done much gardening, I have been spending a few evenings trying to pin down some of the details of the overall garden design, particularly a patio area outside the sun-room doors. It's hard to imagine a time will come when we might actually use such a patio, given that it's about 18 months since we had 2 or more fine days in a row, but surely good weather will come again. I want an area about 4.5 x 4.5 metres.

My material choice is not clear yet. It may well depend on price, but these all have their merits;

| irregular liscannor stone, not too expensive, but slow to put down |

| a type of concrete cobble stone from Roadstone, quite expensive |
