Yesterday we woke to 3 inches of clean white snow. It didn't last long but was beautiful while it did...

wet november

We are only ten days into November and the weather has been truly terrible all through. It has also felt cold although we have only had a light frost once or twice so far. The garden is very wet everywhere but I can't really complain. It's back to some garage jobs that have been on the long finger all summer. It's also been a chance to get a few bonsai sessions done and catch up on some overdue work on them.

hot & dry

This has been the warmest week for a long while. The temperature has been in the high twenties and it's been continuously sunny. The tunnel has been really scorching with a maximum recorded temperature of 51.2C on wednesday... lots of late evening watering so.

We had a dusting of snow last Monday morning. Not very deep, but enough to call it a snow day.
